Diabetes Health Checks (Annual Review) – If you live with diabetes, you’ll need to have certain health checks to help prevent diabetes complications.
Diabetes can cause other complications that can become serious if not picked up and monitored or treated in the early stages.
So regular diabetes health checks – sometimes called your yearly or annual review – are part of your routine NHS treatment.
We will contact you to ask you to get your blood test and urine test done, after which you will be booked in for your diabetes review with nurse Bethany. Please make sure you attend for your diabetes reviews.
